Carlien Bou-Chedid is a Ghanaian structural and earthquake engineering consultant.[1][2][3]
Bou-Chedid attended Wesley Girls' Senior High School and Presec, Legon, where she was exposed to influential female role models such as Marie Curie and Helen Keller.[4] She later obtained a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Surrey, UK, in 1983 and an MSc in Earthquake Engineering and Structural Dynamics from Imperial College London in 1999.[1][5]
