Career

Buttice played for clubs of Argentina, Brazil and Chile. In his homeland, he played for Los Andes, Huracán, San Lorenzo,[1] Atlanta, Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata,[2][3] Banfield, Colón and Peñarol de Mar del Plata.[4][5]

In Brazil, Buttice played for America-RJ, Bahia and Corinthians.[6][5]

In Chile, Buttice played for Unión Española.[7] He was part of the 1977 Unión Española team that won the Primera División de Chile.[8][9]

At international level, Buttice earned four caps for the Argentina national team.[4]

Personal life

Buttice was nicknamed Batman.[5][9]
