The Earle family was a prominent Quaker family in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. Many deceased members of the Earle family are buried at the Quaker Cemetery in Leicester, Massachusetts. Members of the Earle family include prominent lawyers representing fugitive slaves. The family began with Ralph Earle, an English immigrant who arrived in the Massachusetts Bay Colony in the 16th century.[1]
