Chad Robert Mizelle[1] is an American lawyer who served as chief of staff to the United States Department of Justice in 2025. A member of the Republican party, he served as the acting chief of staff and later general counsel to the United States Department of Homeland Security from 2019 to 2020.

Mizelle graduated from the University of Florida and earned a Juris Doctor degree from Cornell Law School.[2]
