Chander Parkash

Chander Parkash is an Indian politician from Haryana. He is a Member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly from 2024, representing Adampur, Haryana Assembly constituency as a Member of the Indian National Congress party.[1][2][3]

Early life

Jangra is from Adampur, Hisar District. He is the son of Arjun Lal.[4] He joined Haryana Civil Services in 1983 and was promoted to IAS rank in 1995. He was the State Information Commissioner in 2017.[5]

Career

Jangra won from Adampur Assembly constituency representing Indian National Congress in the 2024 Haryana Legislative Assembly election. He polled votes and defeated his nearest rival and grandson of Bhajan Lal, Bhavya Bishnoi of Bharatiya Janata Party, by a margin of 1,268 votes.[6][7]
