Chandler Atwood

Chandler Parrish Atwood[1] (September 4, 1978 – June 29, 2025) was a United States Space Force brigadier general who served as the first commander of Space Delta 7 from 2020 to 2022. He last served as the vice commander and deputy commanding general (operations) of Space Operations Command.

Atwood also served as a national defense fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy where he wrote about Syria.[2]

Atwood was born on September 4, 1978.[3] He died on June 29, 2025, at the age of 46, from a heart attack.[4][5]
