Chaos in the CBD are a house music group originally from Auckland, New Zealand. Founded in 2011, in 2012 they relocated to London.[2] The group consists of brothers Louis and Ben Helliker-Hales.[3][4]
The group has collaborated with artists such as Nathan Haines and Novelist,[5] and has remixed songs by Alton Miller and Zebra Katz. In 2017 they were nominated for the Aotearoa Music Award for Best Electronic Artist.[6] They have played multiple sets for Boiler Room.[5] Their debut album A Deeper Life was released in May 2025. A Deeper Life reached number 34 on the New Zealand album's chart,[7] and number 2 on the UK Dance Chart.[8] Following the release of their album, they played at Parklife festival.[9]
