Acting as his own agent, Cross signed his four-year rookie contract with the team on June 2, 2022.[15] As a rookie, Cross appeared in and started all 17 regular season games and one playoff game for the Seahawks in the 2022 season.[16] In the 2023 season, he appeared in and started 14 games.[17] In the 2024 season, he started in all 17 games.[18]

On April 28, 2025, the Seahawks exercised the fifth-year option on Cross's contract.[19][20] On January 4, 2026, Cross signed a four-year, $104.4 million contract extension with Seattle that included $75 million guaranteed.[21] He started in Super Bowl LX, a 29–13 win over the New England Patriots.[22]
