Chernyanka (Russian: Черня́нка) is an urban locality (a settlement) and the administrative center of Chernyansky District of Belgorod Oblast, Russia, located along the Oskol River. Population: 14,896 (2021 census);[4] 15,217 (2010 census);[1] 15,067 (2002 census);[5] 13,475 (1989 Soviet census).[6]
It was first mentioned in 1656.[7]
