Chishala Kateka

Chishala Kateka (born 30 June 1956) is a Zambian Economist, Fellow Chartered Accountant, politician and leader of the New Heritage Party. In 2021, she contested for the Presidency of the Republic of Zambia. Previously, she was board chairperson of Barclays Bank and Competition Commission becoming the first female Zambian to lead the two Boards.[1] She has also represented the African Jurisdiction on the International Ethics Board of Accountants (IESBA).[2][3]
