The Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) is an interdenominational non-profit organization, based in Kentucky, US. Their mission is "building hope, transforming lives, and sharing Christ's love through service in Appalachia".[citation needed]
CAP was established in 1964 by Father Ralph W. Beiting.[citation needed] The headquarters are located in Paintsville, Kentucky.
