Christian Dorche (French: [kʁistjɑ̃ dɔʁʃ]; 27 January 1947 – 8 July 2025) was a French rally driver.[1]

Early life

Born in Gap on 27 January 1947, Dorche made his debut in 1969 in a Renault 8.

Career

He participated in 33 races in the World Rally Championship, including 14 editions of the Monte Carlo Rally. He achieved 5th place in the 1978 Tour de France Automobile. He won the dirt racing series of the 1986 French Rally Championship in a Citroën Visa.[2]

Death

Dorche died in Orpierre on 8 July 2025, at the age of 78.[3]
