Christian Henrik Biering

Christian Henrik Biering (26 August 1729 – 8 September 1804) was a Danish pastor and writer.
Career
In 1760, he was appointed pastor of Aastrup Parish on Falster. In 1767 he purchased Aastrup Church from the crown.[2] In 1773, he became a Master of Theology.[1]
Works
Biering was 15 when he his first poems published, in Danish and Latin. He translated Horat's' letters and wrote moral tales, but was most active as a writer of incidental poems. Songs that he wrote for celebrations among Falster's peasant population remained popular on the island.[1]
