American physicist From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Christina M. S. Cohen is a physicist at the California Institute of Technology known for her work on energetic particles. She was elected a fellow of the American Geophysical Union in 2023.

Education and career

Cohen received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire, and then moved to the University of Maryland where she earned an M.S. and a Ph.D. She moved to the California Institute of Technology in 1996, first for postdoctoral work and then as a research fellow and member of the professional staff.[1]

Research

Cohen is known for her work on energetic particles, particularly those from the Sun and Jupiter.[2]
