Chropov (Hungarian: Sziklabánya) is a village and municipality in Skalica District in the Trnava Region of western Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1262.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 244 metres (801 ft)[2] and covers an area of 17.79 km2 (6.87 sq mi) (2025).[4]
