Ciarán Ahern

Ciarán Ahern (born September 1984) is an Irish Labour Party politician who has been a TD for the Dublin South-West constituency since the 2024 general election.[2][3]

Ahern was a member of South Dublin County Council from June to November 2024 for the Rathfarnham–Templeogue area.[4][1] He has worked and lectured in law. He was an unsuccessful candidate at the 2020 general election for Dublin South-West.
Early life and education
Ahern grew up in Rathfarnham with his two brothers.[1] He attended Coláiste Éanna. He went on to graduate with a double Bachelor of Law and Business from University College Dublin in 2007 and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Policy, Human Rights, Criminology, and Corporate Crime from the London School of Economics Law School in 2009.
