Citizen X is an unreleased side-scrolling action platformer developed by Digital Pictures for the Sega CD. It was originally set to release in 1993, but was cancelled by Digital Pictures for unknown reasons. In 2002, after purchasing the rights to a mostly-finished prototype, Good Deal Games released it with a "beta" mention to account for some of the missing elements of the game, stating that they do not impact the gameplay.[1][2] The game contains many FMV sequences, used to tell the story.
