Classical trinitarianism[1][2] is a term which has been used to refer to the model of the trinity formulated in early Christian creeds and classical theologians, such as Augustine and Thomas Aquinas.[3][4] This form of trinitarianism is often contrasted to what is called "social trinitarianism",[5] and thus is sometimes pejoratively called "anti-social trinitarianism".[6]
