Claudine Griggs (born July 27, 1953[1]) is an American author and transgender woman.
Griggs has taught writing professionally for many years at various universities across the United States. She ran Rhode Island College's Writing Center from 2009 to 2019.[2] While currently semi-retired, she now works part-time as a writing specialist at Texas A&M University's Bush School of Government & Public Service.[3]
