Clifford is a rural locality in the Western Downs Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Clifford had a population of 29 people.[1]
The southern boundary of the locality loosely follows the Great Dividing Range with the locality being with the North East Coast drainage basin, specifically within the catchment of the Fitzroy River.[3]
The Emu State Forest is in the south of the locality. Apart from this protected area, the land use is predominantly grazing on native vegetation with a small amount of crop growing.[4]
