Provisions
Section 9 of the act provided that the act would remain in force from the Feast of Easter until the end of the first session of the next parliament.

The whole act was made perpetual by section 1 of the Common Informers Act 1584 (27 Eliz. 1. c. 10).
Section 9 of the act was repealed by section 1 of, and the schedule to, the Statute Law Revision Act 1863 (26 & 27 Vict. c. 125), which came into force on 28 July 1863.[1]
The whole act was repealed by section 2 of, and the second schedule to, the Statute Law Revision Act 1959 (7 & 8 Eliz. 2. c. 68), which came into force on 29 July 1959.[2]
Notes
- The citation of this act by this short title was authorised by section 5 of, and the second schedule to, the Statute Law Revision Act 1948. Due to the repeal of those provisions, it is now authorised by section 19(2) of the Interpretation Act 1978.
