The Council Tax (New Valuation Lists for England) Act 2006[1] (c. 7) is an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.

in 2004, council tax bands were revalued in Wales, and one third of households' bands were increased and 8% of households' bands decreased.[3]

In 2005, the Government extended the remit of the Lyons inquiry to include local government finance.[4]
