Cristiano Caccamo (Italian pronunciation: [kriˈstjaːno ˈkakkamo]; born 21 March 1989)[1][2] is an Italian actor.

Caccamo was born in Taurianova, the son of poet and writer Michele Caccamo.[3][4] He has one brother, Gabriele.[1] At the age of 15, he left his hometown to attend a boarding school in Assisi.[5][6] He originally wanted to be an architect, but later graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome.[3][7]

Career

Caccamo was encouraged by his father to work full-time as an actor.[3][8] In 2010, he made his theater debut as a soldier in the play Ciechi.[1]

In 2020, he published his debut novel, Chiedimi la Luna.[9] Aside from acting, he also operates a restaurant in Rome.[7]
