Curtis Weaver (born August 3, 1998) is an American former professional football linebacker who played for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Boise State Broncos.
Weaver was born on August 3, 1998, in Long Beach, California, to a mother of Filipino descent.[1] He attended St. Anthony High School in Long Beach, California.
College career
After redshirting his first year at Boise State in 2016, Weaver played in all 14 games in 2017, recording 33 tackles, 11 sacks and one interception.[2] As a redshirt sophomore in 2018, he had 43 tackles and 9.5 sacks.[3][4] During his redshirt junior year in 2019, he set the Mountain West Conference record for career sacks.[5] After this season, Weaver announced that he would forgo his final year of eligibility and enter the 2020 NFL draft.[6]
