Dayanand Anglo Vedic (D.A.V.) Public School, Daak Bunglow Road, Midnapur, Paschim Midnapur (West Bengal) (Hindi: दयानंद एंग्लो वेदिक (डी। ए। वि।) पब्लिक स्कूल, डाक बंगलो रोड, मिदनापुर, पश्चिम मिदनापुर [पश्चिम बंगाल]) (also known as DAV Midnapur) is a self-funded private school located in Midnapur, West Bengal. The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.),[1] New Delhi and belongs to the Dayanand Anglo Vedic College Trust & Management Society[2] , which owns more than 900 educational institutes in India and abroad. The trust was established in 1885 inspired by the ideas of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati. [3]
