Daniel Micallef (8 June 1928 – 9 December 2022) was a Maltese doctor, politician, and diplomat.
He served as Speaker of the House of Representatives from 1982 to 1986,[1] was a long-standing Member of Parliament, briefly served as Minister of Education, Culture and the Environment, and later represented Malta as Ambassador to the Holy See and to the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. He also .[2][3]
Micallef was born in Rabat, Malta on 8 June 1928.[4] He trained as a medical doctor and practised as a general practitioner.[5]
