Dar Al-Sharq Media Group (also known as the Dar Al Sharq Group) (Arabic:مجموعة دار الشرق الاعلامية)is a Qatari joint stock company registered in Doha. The group mainly publishes, prints and distributes various publications.[5]

It was founded in 1986 by Sheikh Dr. Khaled bin Thani Al Thani, and Abdul Latif Al Mahmoud was recently appointed as CEO of the group.

Headquartered in Doha, Qatar. Its main activity is to provide high-quality media services and products by issuing newspapers and magazines to readers in Arab countries and in the whole world. This is in addition to general commercial activity, advertising, production, distribution, and intellectual and scientific works. "Dar Al Sharq Media Group" includes many companies working in the media and journalistic fields (publishing, distribution, advertising and printing).[6][7][8]

In 1986, Dar Al Sharq for Printing, Publishing and Distribution was established to become the institution that embraces the media industry in all its aspects and has gradually expanded to become the most famous and largest media institution in Qatar.[9][10]

  • Diario AS: In partnership with the Qatari Dar Al Sharq Media Group, it launched its website in Arabic[20][21][22]
