Darrell Charles Dess (born July 11, 1935) is an American former professional football player who was an offensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL) for the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants, and the Washington Redskins.[1]

Dess was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He played college football for the NC State Wolfpack, earning all-conference honors as a guard.[1] He was selected in the eleventh round of the 1958 NFL draft by the Redskins.[2]
