Darwin Gustavo Castro Reyes (born 6 July 1993) is an Ecuadorian Paralympian athlete competing mainly in the middle and long-distance events.
Darwin Gustavo Castro Reyes was born on 6 July 1993 in Cuenca, Ecuador. In 2012, Castro had lost his vision as a result of being diagnosed with keratoconus. Unable to restore his vision, he turned to para-athletics, in which he credits for feeling alive again.[1][2]
