Daryz

Daryz won his debut race was at Longchamp on April 6, jockeyed by Mickael Barzalona.^[3] On May 7, he race in Allowance race at Longchamp and win again.

On 8 June, Daryz race his first Stakes race, run in Prix Ridgway Listed Stakes and won by 4 and half lenghts.^[4]

29 June, Daryz race his first Graded race, run in Prix Eugène Adam a G2 race at Saint-Cloud Racecourse^[5]. After a good start, Daryz was positioned in 4th, at 500m left Daryz was on outside position and start to charging forward, at 200m Daryz passed the leader Bay City Roller, staying in front and win his first Graded.^[6]

20 August, Daryz next race was the Juddmonte International Stakes as his first G1 race.^[7][8] After a clean start, Daryz was position inside the rail behind Ombudsman and Danon Decile, with Birr Castle leading ahead as runner. At the home straight Daryz was trying to pass Danon Docile from inside but can't hold it. Daryz was finish last as Ombudsman take the win.^[9]

14 September, Daryz was entered the Prix du Prince d'Orange as l'Arc prep race^[10]. After a clean start, Daryz was positioned 2nd last and at the last corner, Daryz start to move forward outside, at 200m he got clear opening and start charging but can't pass the Japanese Derby winner that year Croix du Nord finishing 2nd^[11].

5 October, Daryz raced in Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. After a clean start from Gate 2, Daryz was placed in middle pack tracking the favourite Minnie Hauk. At 300m home stretch he and Minnie Hauk start leaving the pack and battle each other, got ahead from Minnie Hauk at 50m left and winning the prestigious Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.^[12] With winning the l'Arc, Daryz finish the 2025 season with co-7th place in IFHA Rating with 127 sharing it with Hong Kong Superstar Romantic Warrior and 2024 BC Classic winner Sierra Leone.^[13]

26 April, 2026 season start with Daryz back racing again in Prix Ganay.^[14] After a good start, Daryz settled in 4th position and start moving at the last corner, after got clear opening at 300m he start powering away from pack and win 3 and half lengths on his first 2026 race.^[15]
“The horse is definitely stronger and is more mature,” said trainer Francis-Henri Graffard. “It was the perfect race to make his comeback in. They didn’t go fast but he was perfectly in tune with what Mickael [Barzalona, jockey] was asking him to do. He got there without being woken up and when Mickael asked him to accelerate he reacted immediately."^[15]
Graffard continued: “His objective will be the Prince of Wales’s Stakes at Ascot in June, and the race that falls in between is the Prix Aga Khan IV [(formerly the Prix d’Ispahan], so we’ll discuss that as an option.”^[15]
