Daur Tarba (Abkhaz: Даур Ҭарба, Georgian: დაურ თარბა), born June 2, 1959, is the current Minister for Agriculture of Abkhazia. In the past, he has also been Chairman of United Abkhazia at a time when it was the ruling party, Vice Premier and head of the Ochamchira District.
Tarba was born on June 2, 1959 in the village of Mokvi, Ochamchire District. He served in the Soviet army, being posted to Vietnam, and receiving the Order of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.[2]
Targa graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Abkhaz State University, then continued his studies at the Nizhny Novgorod Social and Political Institute.[2]
During the 1992-93 conflict between Georgia and Abkhazia, he fought in the Ochamchire district.[2]
