Dean "Deano" Butterworth (born 26 September 1976)[1] is an English musician based in the United States. He was the drummer for Morrissey. He is most well known as the former drummer for Good Charlotte.[2]
He moved to the United States at the age of six and began learning to play the drums at thirteen.[3][4] He is known to be a good cook and very skilled at preparing elaborate dishes. As the oldest member of the band, he always jokes that he is the father of the other members.[5]
He also recorded in the studio for Lies for the Liars, an album by the post-hardcore band The Used, although he was only in the studio.
