The Debts Recovery Act 1830[a] (11 Geo. 4 & 1 Will. 4. c. 47) was an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.[1]

Subsequent developments

The whole act was repealed for England and Wales by section 56 of, and the second schedule to, the Administration of Estates Act 1925 (15 & 16 Geo. 5. c. 23), which came into force on 1 January 1926.[3]

The whole act was repealed for Northern Ireland by section 46(2) of, and the third schedule to, the Administration of Estates Act (Northern Ireland) 1955 (c. 24 (N.I))), which came into force on 1 January 1956.[4]

Notes

  1. The citation of this act by this short title was authorised by section 1 of, and the first schedule to, the Short Titles Act 1896. Due to the repeal of those provisions it is now authorised by section 19(2) of the Interpretation Act 1978.
