Deepmala Dhakal (Nepali: दीपमाला ढकाल) is a Nepalese beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Nepal World 2026.[1] She will represent Nepal at Miss World 2027 in Tanzania.[2]

Early life and family background
She was born on 11 May 2002 in Hong Kong to Surendra Kumar Dhakal engineer and Roshani Kharel. Her maternal grandfather was Ratna Prasad Kharel former minister of Nepal.[3] She has graduated with Bachelor's in Finance and Economics from the University of Hong Kong and worked as investment strategist at BlackRock.[4] She is a member of Hong Kong Toastmasters, the public speaking organization, and has appeared as a TEDx speaker as well as ran the Hong Kong Marathon.[5]
Miss Nepal 2026
Deepamala was appointed as Miss Nepal Hong Kong 2026 which gave her direct entry in Miss Nepal 2026.[6] Following her mother's footsteps who had competed at the first edition of Miss Nepal in 1994, it inspired Deepmala to join Miss Nepal beauty pageant.[7] In the national contest, she won four special awards; Brij Cement Miss Confident, Miss Health and Haramony, BYD Miss Green Visionary, and THT Miss Beauty with a Purpose.[8][9]
