Deirdre Hanford

Deirdre Hanford (Deirdre Ryan Hanford [1]) is an American executive in electronic design automation industry. As of 2020[update] she is Chief Security Officer for Synopsys.[2]
Deidre earned a B.S. in electric engineering from Brown University (1983) and a M.S. in electric engineering from UC Berkeley.[2]
She joined Synopsys in 1987, becoming its 8th employee.[3] Since then she advanced via many roles.[4]
In 2008 she was Chairman of the American Electronics Association.[2] She was named founding CEO of Natcast in January 2024. Prior to that, she was an inaugural member of the Industrial Advisory Committee created by the CHIPS Act.[5]
