Derek Roff (park ranger)

Arthur Derek Roff, known formally as Derek Roff, (8 October 1930 – 10 August 2016)[1] was the former head ranger at Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park, then known at Ayers Rock National Park, who managed it between 1968 and 1985 during a time of political and social upheaval.[2] He was managing the park during the events of the death of Azaria Chamberlain in 1980 and the subsequent inquests and trials.
