Derin Adeyokunnu

Derin Adeyokunnu is a Nigerian film producer, director, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Nemsia Studios,[1] a production company known for its contribution to the Nigerian film industry.[2]

He has served as an executive producer on several films, including Banana Island Ghost (2017),[3] God Calling (2018),[1] A Green Fever (2023),[4] Soft Love (2024),[5] and Breath of Life (2024), which won the AMVCA 2024 award for Best Movie.[6]

Career

Adeyokunnu co-founded Nemsia Studios with BB Sasore with the goal of producing films that resonate with audiences both locally and internationally, producing several hit films. Under Derin's management, Nemsia Studios became a pioneer in Nollywood, securing an exclusive three-film deal with Amazon Prime Video in 2023[2] Adeyokunnu has been an advocate for the development of Nollywood through technological advancement and local investment.[7][8]
