Dermacoccaceae

The Dermacoccaceae is a family of bacteria placed within the order of Micrococcales.[3][4][5] Bacteria af this familia are Gram-positive, non-spore-forming and non-motile.[6][7] Dermacoccaceae bacteria occur on the skin.[8]

Phylogeny

The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature[2] and the phylogeny is based on whole-genome sequences.[9][a]

Notes

  1. Allobranchiibius, Barrientosiimonas, Calidifontibacter, Dermacoccus, Flexivirga, Leekyejoonella, Rudaeicoccus, and Yimella are not included in this phylogenetic tree.
