Desmond King FBA FRHistS (born 1957) is the Andrew W. Mellon professor of American Government at Nuffield College, Oxford.[1][2] King was elected to the American Philosophical Society in 2022.[3] He was elected a Member of the National Academy of Sciences in 2025.[4]
