Dewan Abul Abbas

Dewan Abul Abbas was a Pakistani and Bangladeshi politician. He was a member of the East Pakistan Provincial Assembly representing Comilla.[1][2]
Abbas was born on 1 March 1926 in Barikandi village, under Nabinagar thana of Comilla district (now in Brahmanbaria District). He earned a master's degree in English and, in 1952, an LL. B.[3] He was a lawyer.[4] He was a member of the Constituent Assembly of Bangladesh.[5][6] In 1962, he was elected to the East Pakistan Provincial Assembly.[3]
His son, Dewan Aftabul Alam, lives in Wari, Dhaka.[5] His younger son Dewan Ashraful Alam, lives in New York, USA.
