On 19 March 2019 an multi-storey under-construction commercial complex in Kumareshwar Nagar in Dharwad, Karnataka collapsed, 19 people died and 50 more were injured in the accident.[1] This collapse is considered one of the worst tragedies of Dharwad city.[2]
