As of 2025, Digis Group employs approximately 220 specialists and operates as a remote-first team serving clients in over 40 countries across fintech, healthcare, media, e-commerce, and other industries.[2]

History

Digis was founded in 2015 in Odesa, Ukraine, by Mykyta Nagatkin (also known as Nick Nagatkin)[1] as Do IT Programming Solutions with no initial external investment. Initially focused on JavaScript development, the company expanded to full-stack solutions and rebranded to Digis (Do IT Global Innovative Solutions) in December 2018.[5]

In 2018, the headquarters were relocated to Larnaca, Cyprus, while maintaining development operations in Ukraine. The company achieved rapid growth, including 100% year-over-year revenue growth in 2021 and a 50% increase in 2020. During the COVID-19 pandemic, 80% of the team transitioned to remote work.[5][6]

In 2023, founder Nick Nagatkin made a personal investment in Scalamandra, an outsourcing company founded in 2020 specializing in Scala programming.[7] The two entities officially merged in June 2024 under the Digis Group brand, with Scalamandra’s team of about 15 specialists joining the group. [7][8]

In November 2025, Fiverr acquired Digis Group (including both entities). The deal value was not publicly disclosed but estimated by analysts at $9–14 million.[4] Founder Nick Nagatkin remained with the combined structure, while Scalamandra’s founder Ilya Podavalkin exited to pursue new projects. The acquisition increased Fiverr’s workforce by more than 20%.[4][9]
