Donte Kent (born September 28, 2001) is an American professional football cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Central Michigan Chippewas and was selected by the Steelers in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL draft.

Kent attended Harrisburg High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and committed to play college football for the Central Michigan Chippewas.[1]

Kent was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 229th overall pick of the seventh round in the 2025 NFL draft.[5] He was placed on injured reserve on August 28, 2025, due to a right foot injury.[6] After returning to practice in anticipation of his NFL debut, Kent suffered an ankle injury; he was subsequently ruled out for the remainder of the season on December 5.[7]
Personal life
His brother, Ronald Kent Jr. played college football with Western Carolina and Central Michigan.[8]
