Douglas James Norman (12 June 1897 - 27 December 1971)[2] was a rugby union player who appeared in 453 games for Leicester Tigers between 19201933, and twice for England in 1932. He started his career playing as a flanker, but switched to the front row midway through his career and from then on played predominantly at hooker.
