The 24 Fire is a wildland fire off Colorado State Highway 115 near Penrose, Colorado and on Fort Carson land. Currently the fire has burned 6,400 acres of land. The fire has caused evacuation for 80 home north of Penrose.[1]

Evacuations
Both mandatory and Pre-Evacuations have been issued with about 80 home eavcuations from 2 mile between Fremont County Road 49 and Colorado State Highway 115. Pathfinder Park in Florence, Colorado has become a evacuation center.[4] As of March 24, 2026, evacuations have been lifted to Pre-Evacuation warnings.[5]
Traffic Impacts
Colorado State Highway 115 is currently close from Mile Marker 18 to Mile Marker 39 until further notice.[6]
