Adrian Rocca (born 1981) is a Canadian real estate developer and the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fitzrovia, a Toronto based real estate company. [1]

Early life and education

Rocca was born August 1981, in Toronto, Ontario.

Career

Rocca founded Fitzrovia in 2017[1]. The company develops, builds and manages purpose built rental communities and acquires vintage buildings in Toronto and Montreal[1] [2]. The company has expanded into student housing development in several Canadian university markets under the Waverley brand [3].

Rocca has frequently commented publicly on housing policy, including municipal development charges and financing conditions affecting rental construction in Toronto [4].

Rocca is a board member of the Canadian Olympic Foundation and co launched the “Great to Gold” fundraising initiative with investor Moez Kassam to support Canadian Olympic athletes.[5][6] Rocca is also Chair of the Michael Garron Hospital Foundation and Vice Chair of the Toronto Public Library Foundation board[7].

Awards and honours

In 2023, Rocca received the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award [8]. In 2024, he was named in Toronto Life’s list of the 50 most influential Torontonians of the year in recognition of the “Great to Gold” fundraising initiative[6].

In 2025, Rocca was named Canada’s Most Admired CEO in the Growth category by Waterstone Human Capital [9]. In 2025, he also received the Riley Brethour Leadership Award at Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) Awards [10].
