Background

"Ai Dua Em Ve" was written by Nguyen Bao Trong. In 2019, musician Nguyen Bao Trong contacted and sent the song to TIA in the R&B genre. Singer and producer MastaL came up with the idea of a "fresher dreamy mix." Tia wrote a rap verse for the song, asking singer Le Thien Hieu to contribute vocals.[1]

"I was impressed by the song from the first try. I want to show a new and more diverse image. I believe the audience still recognizes me thanks to the unique handling in the song," Tia expressed.[2] The song was released on June 20, 2019.

Music video

The music video was released on the evening of July 22, 2019. Tia invited her boyfriend to act in the music video.[2]

Reception

"Ai Dua Em Ve" spread on TikTok, nearly 6 years after release, through a trend known as "low cortisol." The song went viral due to its "catchy lyrics" and "gentle melody."[3] As of February 2026, the audio had 66 thousand uses on TikTok,[4] along with 700 million approaches. The song also reached Spotify's Top 50 charts in the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Korea.[1]

After Tia saw the virality, she took advantage of the phrase "low cortisol," adding it to the title of the music video on YouTube.[4] A remix was released in response.[5]
