Aidan Crowe is an Irish Actor and a native of Limerick, Ireland. He started acting at the age of 12 with Spotlight Stage School and then completed a two year course with Limerick Youth Theatre. He moved to Wales, where he attended Aberystwyth University and graduated with a degree in Drama & Theatre Studies. [1] In 2010, he married Irish singer Leanne Moore. [2]

Career

Aidan starred in season two of the HBO series Game of Thrones, portraying Quent. In 2012, he starred in the lead role in the short film ‘Vanner’ as Francie Flanagan, an Irish Traveller. [3] Other on screen credits include Ripper Street, Reign, Mattie and Inside the Crystal Ball.

He performed in the theatre production of ‘Click’, written by Caroline Fitzgerald and showcased in the New Theatre, Dublin. [1] In 2017, he would return to Limerick Youth Theatre for the ‘Call Back’ theatre event. [4] Additionally, Aidan worked as a stage technician for several Theatre shows, including Peter Pan in 2023 and The Pull of the Stars in 2024 for Gate Theatre. [5] [6]

Aidan began working as a Production Manager for the Dublin based theatre group #24HrDub in 2014 and also worked for other groups such as Dublin Youth Theatre. [7] Aidan has performed in several pantos around Ireland, appearing in the likes of Aladdin (2023), [8] Rapunzel (2024) and Little Red Riding Hood (2026). [9] In 2024, he took part in a reading of ‘Under Milk Wood’ alongside the GAFF Limerick. [10] Other stage credits include ‘Me Too!’, ‘The Lighthouse Keeper [11]’, ‘The Revenger's Tragedy’ and ‘King Lear’. In 2018, he was a lighting assistant for the play ‘My Dad’s Blind’. [12] He worked with Bottom Dog Theatre during 2009. [13] In 2024, he performed in the play ‘Granny Jackson’s Dead’ in Belfast. [14] In 2019, Aidan was one of 300 artists to sign a petition in protest for the creative direction of the Abbey Theatre. [15]
