‘’‘Aishwin Kaur’’’ is an Indian deaf table tennis player from Punjab. She is a two-time National Deaf Table Tennis Champion and has represented India at international competitions including the Asia Pacific Deaf Games, World Deaf Table Tennis Championships and Deaflympics. She has won multiple international medals and is regarded as one of India’s leading deaf table tennis players.

Early life
Aishwin Kaur was born in Ludhiana, Punjab. She was born with a hearing disability and was diagnosed at the age of six with metachromatic leukodystrophy (MLD), a rare neurological disorder. Despite medical challenges, she pursued competitive table tennis and developed into an international athlete.
Career
Kaur began playing table tennis in 2016 and rose through district, state and national competitions. She later trained at an academy in Gurugram, where she competed alongside hearing athletes.
In 2023, she won a silver medal in the women’s team event at the 4th World Deaf Table Tennis Championship in Taiwan. She also secured bronze medals in the singles and doubles events at the 1st Youth World Deaf Table Tennis Championship. During the championship, she was selected as India’s flag bearer at the closing ceremony.
In 2024, she represented India at the 10th Asia Pacific Deaf Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, winning a silver medal in the team event and a bronze medal in women’s doubles. She was the only athlete from Punjab to win medals at the championship.
In March 2025, Kaur won the women’s singles title at the National Deaf Senior, Junior and Sub-Junior Sports Championship held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
In September 2025, she was named among India’s probables for the 25th Summer Deaflympics.
In March 2026, she won the National Deaf Table Tennis Championship in Chandigarh, becoming a two-time national champion.
Apart from deaf sports competitions, Kaur has also competed successfully in mainstream table tennis tournaments, winning a silver medal in the Punjab State Ranking Tournament and becoming Ludhiana district champion in the general category.
