Aldo Maria Camillo (born 7 November 1975) is an Italian fashion designer, founder, CEO, and creative director of the Paris-based brand ALDOMARIACAMILLO. Previously, he was creative director of Cerruti and co-creative director of Berluti.

Career
Camillo was born in Rome, and raised in Castelli Romani. He grew up skating, listening to grunge music and wearing his father's sartorial jackets.
In 1995 he graduated in fine arts, with a major in architecture at V State Art High School of Rome and in 2000 he graduated in Costume & Fashion Design at Accademia Costume e Moda.
In 2003 he was awarded “Best Young Fashion Designer” during the European fashion contest MTV Fashion House.
From 2003 to 2005 he worked at Valentino as a designer on men’s ready-to-wear, pre-collections & shows.
In 2005 he was awarded with a fulbright fellowship and a master in merchandising & marketing at FIT in New York.
Zegna, 2006–2009
In 2006 he was appointed men's senior designer of Zegna for the “sartoria” department in tailoring & made-to-measure.
Valentino, 2009–2012
In 2009 he was appointed men's design director of Valentino for rtw & accessories, pre-collections and shows, reporting directly to creative directors Pierpaolo Piccioli & Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Cerruti, 2012–2015
In 2012 he was appointed creative director and board member of the Maison Cerruti, making him responsible for the global image of the brand, adv campaigns, pre-collections and shows for the new main collection Cerruti 1881 Paris, reporting directly to CEO Catherine Vautrin.[1]
Berluti (LVMH), 2016–2018
In 2016 he was appointed co-creative director & design director for rtw & accessories, pre-collections and shows (menswear & womenswear), sunglasses licence and oversight of the design studio in collaboration with creative director Haider Ackermann, reporting directly to the executive vice-president Severine Merle and CEO Antoine Arnault.[2]
Caruso (Lanvin Fashion Group), 2019–2022
In 2019 he was appointed creative director of Caruso, leading tailoring luxury (menswear & womenswear), pre-collection and main collection, leading marketing and design collaborations such as "Caruso x Junya Watanabe" and "Caruso x Mr. Porter". In conjunction with the creative direction, he produced his brand ALDOMARIACAMILLO in the Raffaele Caruso factory.
ALDOMARIACAMILLO, 2019–now
AMC SAS is the French-registered parent company of the fashion label ALDOMARIACAMILLO, founded by Creative Director Aldo-Maria Camillo. The brand is an official member of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) and is regularly featured in the presentations section of the official Paris Men’s Fashion Week calendar.
The brand gained initial prominence when the Fondazione Pitti invited and financially supported Aldo-Maria Camillo as a Special Guest of Pitti Uomo. He debuted his first collection, entitled "RADICI" (FW19), to critical acclaim.[3] Following the launch, the brand's stockists included premier international retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman, Mr Porter, Matches Fashion, Andreas Murkudis (Berlin), and United Arrows.
The brand operates under a dedicated production and distribution agreement for the Japanese market. Its retail presence in Asia includes further high-end doors such as Dover Street Market, Isetan, and I Am Shop (South Korea).
In Europe and globally, the brand is represented by the PR agency Angelo Sensini PR & Communication.
Recent Collections
- Spring-Summer 2025: "SKIN", presented in June during the official Paris calendar. The collection was sold via the Paris-based MMW Showroom, a collective focused on sustainability and craftsmanship, and the Elight JP showroom in Tokyo.[4]
- Fall-Winter 2025/26: "HOMECOMING", presented in January in Paris. This collection was manufactured entirely in Italy in collaboration with Lanificio Marzotto and distributed through top-tier multi-brand stores in Germany and Japan.[5]
- Spring-Summer 2026: "UNBOUND", presented in June in Paris. The collection received significant recognition from major international press outlets, including WWD, and strengthened its partnership with retailers like Andreas Murkudis Berlin.[6]
- Fall-Winter 2026: "ONENESS", presented on January 24th during Paris Fashion Week. This collection marked a milestone collaboration with the Loro Piana wool mill, utilizing their finest cashmere. It received widespread acclaim from publications such as L’Officiel Hommes, MF Fashion, and WWD.[7]
Personal Life
Camillo lives and works in Paris since 2012. He has a son born in 2000, and a daughter born in 2003.
